Faces Against Racism

- Project Details
Faces Against Racism was an idea that came about in light of the racial tensions following the murder of George Floyd among the other wrongful deaths at the hands of excessive police force. The faces depicted in this series are of people that, regardless of any other differences, stand together around one thing; a desire for civil equity. Each individual photographed donated $100, all of which has been given to Lancaster based, black owned community organizations. Together, the people of Lancaster raised over $11,000. The success of this fundraiser is a testimony that speaks to the strength of this community that I am fortunate to be a part of.
